Sustainable school travel

News flash! By 2050, there could be more plastic in the oceans than fish. In the name of Sir David Attenborough, and those tiny teeney turtles, we’re doing everything we can to save our planet! As teachers, lecturers and all around decent human beings, we have a responsibility to protect the rivers, beaches, mountains and oceans that make up this sphere we call a planet. That’s why we’ve launched our #FootprintsNotForests movement.

What we’ve already done

We’ve promoted rail travel instead of car travel for all of our on the road employees

We now only have glass milk bottles in the office

Recycled paper
We only use recycled paper towels in our bathrooms & kitchen

Shut down
We shut down all our electronic devices before we leave the office

We’re installing smart lighting in all our buildings

We attained the ISO 14001 accreditation that certifies environmentally friendly business

We’ve appointed a green champion

Meet Sarah. Sarah is our office green champion. No, she doesn’t have anger issues like the hulk, she is in place to ensure every member of the office is going as green as possible! As part of our ISO 14001 accreditation we are constantly reviewing the procedures we have in place to ensure we are as green as possible. Thanks Sarah, you’re the best!
