Land in Rome and start the day with a 3-hour guided group tour. On this tour students will explore the Vatican City and St Peter's Highlights, showcasing those stunning magnificent places, all information is given in Italian so is it the perfect opportunity for students to practise their listening skills. Challenge your students to only speak Italian to the locals so they can get a true taste of the city!
Today your students will explore Rome's leading shopping street. Students can splurge on famous labels: Bulgari, Gucci, Louis Vuitton (to name a few) or they can glide by window shopping. Your group will finish their day by visiting the world famous Trevi Fountain that is 85 feet high and 65 feet wide, the largest Baroque fountain in Rome. The legend says that “if you throw a coin into the fountain, you are ensured a return to the Eternal City”.
Piazza Navona is a hub of activity and the perfect place for students to pick up local phrases as they listen to the locals. Lively with stylish restaurants, gelato bars, musical and artistic performances. After visiting the square students will get the opportunity to enjoy a pizza making workshop. If you’re looking to challenge your students get your guide to only speak instructions in Italian. Who knows how they will turn out! Afterwards students will explore one of the city's main attractions: Piazza Di Spagna.
On their final day, your group students will explore the tourist hotspots that the city has to offer on a walking tour to “The Galleria Alberto Sordi”, an arcaded shopping gallery that contains several shops, cafes, bookstores and boutiques and visit the Castel Sant'Angelo remarkable place, filled with ancient history. Later they will transfer to the airport to catch their flight home.
