This is where the adventure begins! Land in Lima and transfer to your accommodation. In the afternoon you and your students will tour the city and explore the Larco Herrera Museum. Although your local guide will speak excellent English, we recommend your students only speak Spanish during their trip.
Students will start the day with a Spanish lesson, working in small groups they will master local phrases and put their learning into context. Students will then enjoy a guided tour of the Island of Palomino. In the afternoon students will venture through the district of Barranco and check out the art in Museum Pedro de Osma.
Today students will visit the ancient Sacred Valley. Stopping off at Awanakancha students will see local wildlife in their natural habitat before checking out the Pisaq Market.
Today students will transfer to a local village where they will have the unforgettable experience of a home stay. Students will speak to local villagers and practise their language skills on others. In the evening students will help the locals and play sports with the local children.
Transfer from the village and then hop on the expedition train to Machu Picchu, students will get the chance to experience this ancient wonder on a guided tour.
Today students will enjoy a walking tour of the San Blas District & Casa Concha where ancient artefacts from Machu Picchu are displayed. In the afternoon students will have a Spanish lesson with their local teacher, working on the skills they have learnt on their trip.
In the morning student will head out to a local market to gather food for their final breakfast. Get students practising their skills by bartering in Spanish. Their final day in Peru wouldn’t be complete without one last Spanish lesson to round off the trip. Transfer to the airport before you catch your evening flight home.
