Once your group has arrived in San Francisco, your pre-organised transfer will take them to their accommodation. Your group can enjoy some free time while you explore the city. In the evening head to AT&T Park and watch one of America’s favourite sports: baseball.
Start your day bright and early, today you’ll be touring Silicon Valley. Visit the EBay, Apple and Google headquarters, if you’re lucky you can snap a pic on a Google bike! Looking for an out of this world experience? Head over to the NASA Ames Research Centre, to see how technology has taking us to space. Enjoy an evening meal before heading back to your accommodation for the night.
In the morning your group will head over to the Computer History Museum. With over 1,100 artefacts, including some of the very first computers from the 40’s, your group will be spoilt for choice. From the past to the future, your group will next head to The Tech–Museum of Innovation. This interactive museum focuses on four main areas: communication, exploration, innovation and tech.
Your group will head over to Stanford University which produced the some of the biggest digital pioneers Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. Next go to where it all began, The HP Garage, commonly known as the “Birthplace of Silicon Valley” this was the first start up in the area. The Intel Museum is the next stop, with over 30 exhibitions exploring the history and innovation of the company. Head over to Chinatown for your last evening meal.
Be sure to charge your cameras, you’ll be ticking off all of the major sites today: Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park and Alcatraz. Make sure you complete your San Fran bucket list: hiking up Lombard Street, riding a cable car and an iconic snap next to the Painted Ladies, before heading home.
