The first stop for your group is the The Sony Plaza, this has been the information base for the Sony Group since 1966. There’s a plethora of attractions for your group, no end to the entertainment! Next you’ll be heading to the Panasonic Centre. Your students will get hands-on, exhibits to choose from include: RiSuPia, Nintendo Game Front, Life Solutions and Smart House. In the evening your group can climb a staggering 243 meters to the top of the Tokyo Government Office Building to take in the bright lights of Tokyo.
Immerse yourself into the wonderful world of Japanese Amine today, starting with a visit to the Ghibli Museum, which showcases the iconic work of Studio Ghibli. Up next is the Suginami Animation Museum where your students will gain a deeper understanding of the history and production process, there’s even a chance for group members to create their own animations. In the evening your group can let their hair down and enjoy some Japanese karaoke!
The Akihabara Electronic District will be your first destination today. This area is renowned for hundreds of electronic shops and is known by the global electronic technology and trade centre. In the afternoon you’ll be heading to the DOCOMO WHARF Exhibition Hall which will give students a glimpse into the future of mobile communication.
What’s a trip to Japan without seeing some robots? Your students will be able to witness the classic performance of the Asimo robot at Honda Welcome Plaza. Afterwards your group will hop onto a Himiko Ferry to go explore the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. Here your group will come face to face with some of the most realistic looking robots in the world. This evening your group will enjoy their last meal, and can reflect on their trip.
Your group will have some free time to explore the city today, maybe treat your students to a day at Disneyland Tokyo, a perfect way to relax before heading back to the UK.
