Once your group has settled in New York, your first stop will be Microsoft’s flagship store, where your students will participate in a workshop on coding, programming and apps. Following this your group can relax and take in the sights on a circle line cruise, with the Statue of Liberty as the main event.
Are your students gaming fans? You’ll be heading over to Nintendo World, here they’ll be able to interact with hands on demonstrations. The New York Hall of Science is up next, home to over 450 exhibits! Head over to Time Square in the evening to see the bright lights of New York, here your group can enjoy a Broadway Show.
This morning your group will visit the Samsung 837, where you can take part in interactive art installation, watch 3 story screens and see live musical acts! In the afternoon, your group will travel to Queens and to the Museum of Moving Images, your students can even take part in a programming workshop where they can build their own games! In the evening students will get the chance to see the Blue Man Group in action & enjoy a backstage pass where they will meet the cast out of costume, enjoy a lighting tutorial, meet the director & get a chance to play with the instruments.
Rise early in the morning, today your group will be exploring Brooklyn. Get up close and personal with wonderful world of robots at the Brooklyn Robot Factory, a number of workshops run: gravity, electricity and mechanical forces. In the afternoon your group can experience the best view of New York, by scaling the Empire State Building. Catch an evening transfer to the airport before flying home overnight.
