Top of the table when it comes to power, your history & politics students will get the chance to visit the capital of arguably the most powerful country in the world, it’s one that won’t fail to inspire your students!

Day 1

Arrive in the US capital and settle into your accommodation. Check off the biggest name on day one with a trip to the White House Visitor Centre, full of interactive displays and video content to keep your students engaged, of course this will give your students the opportunity to view ‘the big White House’ and its beautiful surroundings.

Day 2

This morning it’s all about politics, your students will get to grips with the true spirit of America with a trip to the Capitol & the Supreme Court. Your group will enjoy some downtime before sampling stateside cuisine!

Day 3

In the morning, your students will visit the National Archives Building. Your students can get up close and personal with some of the most significant documents in American history; the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and The Constitution. In the afternoon, students can visit Union Station. The beautiful exterior houses a hub of activity and commuters, established in 1907, your students can witness the second busiest station in the world.

Day 4

On their final day, your students will go inside the headquarters of the United States Department of defence: The Pentagon. This is the biggest symbol of U.S military, your students will be guided round the grounds by an official member. In the evening you and your group will fly back to the UK.
