Once your group arrives in Prague you’ll be jumping straight into the action. Start your trip by exploring Josefov, the former Jewish Ghetto. Here your group will be able to check out the Old Jewish Cemetery, Pinkas Synagogue and the Jewish Museum. In the evening, your group will head to Old Town Square where they’ll enjoy a traditional evening meal.
Today your students will be able to understand the rise and fall of communism. Is there a better place to start than the Museum of Communism? Here your students will be able to experience life in communist Prague between 1948 to 1989. Later, your group will head to the Lennon Wall an iconic political landmark for the youth of Prague in 1980’s and the perfect backdrop for your travel snaps! In the evening your group can enjoy some free time and see the Charles Bridge all lit up!
Hope your students are early risers, you’ll be heading out bright and early to visit the Terezin Concentration Camp one of the largest concentration camps in the Czech Republic. Initially built in 1780 to protect the city, it was converted into a Jewish Ghetto during WW2. Following this your group will be transported back to the city where you’ll be able to enjoy some free time before heading back to the UK.
