Where to go

We can-al go to Venice! A city built on 118 islands connected by a series of waterways and canals, hopefully your students have packed their sea legs. Not only is this city beautiful, but it’s unique example of creative ingenuity, sure to leave any student inspired! So, pack your bags and hop on a gondola, your Italian adventure awaits...

Day 1

After settling into the Italian way of life, your group will be spending their morning enjoying a sketching session by a Venice canal bed, they’ll then be heading to a pizza making & Ice cream tasting session. Bellissimo!

Day 2

Today will be filled with educational tourist attractions. In the morning, your group will be visiting the Correr Museum & the beautiful Mask Workshop. The afternoon has St Mark’s Basilica & a gondola ride for the students.

Day 3

Rise early with your students and head to the top of the bell tower, it’s here that your students will watch the sunrise. Students will grab a freshly baked pastry on their way to the port before they head to the Picturesque Burano. Students can sketch, snap or draw the pictures perfect colourful fisherman’s town, visit local enterprises and sample beautiful food before heading back to Venice.

Day 4

On their final day students will be exploring the history of Doge's Palace & exploring San Marco, before enjoying some free time and heading home.

Piazza San Marco
Get 3 in 1, now that sounds like a great deal! Piazza San Marco hosts 3 of Venice’s main sites: Basillica di San Marco, Torre dell’Orologio and Doge’s Palace. Struggling to fill your itinerary? We’d recommend discovering 16th Century artefacts in the National Archaeological Museum or simply listening to the bells of San Marco.

Venetian Ghetto
Did you know that the world’s first Jewish “ghetto” was in Venice, dating back to the 15th Century? It’s safe to say that this area is still an active hub for the Jewish community. Here your group can explore numerous synagogues, museums and eat their hearts out in the delicious bakeries!

Campanile
Looking for the best view of Venice? Then a trip 96-meters up Campanile is a must for your group. Not only is it the tallest bell tower in Venice, it’s the tallest in the whole of Italy. If you’re lucky on a clear day the Dolomites mountains can be seen from the top of the tower.
