School trip itinerary to Edinburgh

Students will depart for the beautiful city of Edinburgh. On the way students will be stopping for some much-needed photo opportunities. We recommend: Forth Road Bridges & the impressive Queensferry bridge. Upon arrival, students will jump back in time on the historical streets of Edinburgh or into the Blair Street Underground Vaults, on a historic & ghost themed tour.
Post breakfast the first stop for students will be Edinburgh Castle, it’s here they’ll spot Scotland’s Crown Jewels. Then it’s time for students to stretch their legs, walking down the Royal Mile. Students will be starting at an extinct volcano and continuing down the slope that was formed by the retreat of an ice age over 325 million years ago! In the evening students will enjoy a group meal, even sampling the local cuisine – Haggis.
On their final day, students will visit the Dynamic Earth Museum, it’s here they’ll be exploring an interactive 4D adventure. STEM & Geography students will discover how our planet has changed over time & the impact humanity is having. Afterwards, students will be heading to the Edinburgh Zoo. Students can then enjoy some free time on the famous Princess Street, before heading home.
