Land in Naples and transfer to Pompeii, where your students will get the chance to explore a city frozen in time. In the afternoon, a walking tour will give students full details on the city once one of the richest in all of the Roman Empire, sent into dust in 79 AC. From the afternoon into the evening your students will be having an Olive Oil & Pasta making session. (Yes, they get to eat the produce.)
Today your students will enjoy an authentic cooking class and pizza making lesson, sample beautiful home-grown cuisine and fresh ingredients. After, your students will visit Herculaneum, an ancient Roman town settled in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius.
Today your students will transfer to the Island of Capri. This spot is known as the ‘jewel of the Amalfi coast’ and it’s not hard to see why. Here your students can explore natural formations: Blue Grotto, Faraglioni and Monte Solaro. The hard part will be choosing where to go!
In the morning enjoy a guided tour of Solfatara. Your students might want to peg their noses, this dormant volcano lets off sulphurous fumes and huge jets of hot steam. They will be heading to Flavian Amphitheatre Temple of Serapis, in the late afternoon before catching a late evening flight home.
