Once your group arrives in Prague, you’ll be transported to your accommodation in your pre-organised transfer. You’ll be heading over to Old Prague where you’ll be kicking off your trip at the National Gallery Collection, a display of modern art including work from Otto Gutfreund. Later your students will wander down to the National Gallery, the city’s largest collection of art in the entire county. In the evening your group will have time to explore Old Town Square, and enjoy a meal before heading back to your accommodation.
In the morning your groups will be heading to Kampa Museum, the Modern Museum of Art, where you’ll find pieces from renowned Czech and Central European artists. Next up is the House at the Black Madonna, the first cubist building in Europe; here you can explore the Museum of Decorative Art exhibition. In the afternoon you’ll be ticking off all the hot spots: Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and St Vitus Cathedral. We’re sure the iconic architecture will get your students inspired!
Your group will spend their last morning at the Veletrizni Palace, which holds one of the best artistic collections in the country. Your students will be spoilt for choice with 3 floors rammed full of items from Kupka to modernist pieces. The last stop for students is the Lennon Wall, a symbolic peace memorial covered in graffiti. Top tip – this is the perfect destination for some off the beat inspiration and some epic travel snaps!
