Arrive in Berlin and jump straight into action. First stop for your group is the Computer Museum of CASE at Humboldt University, with a wide variety of preserved computers; your students will see the ancestors of their iPhones. Treat your students with a trip to the Computer Spiele Museum, which contains over 3000 exhibits including classic games and consoles.
Today your students will be able to explore how technology is used in manufacturing. Head over to the BMW Motorcycle Factory in the morning to see how technology has improved the manufacturing process. In the afternoon visit the Volkswagen “Transparent Factory” Dresden, where your students can see the production process of the world class Volkswagen Phaeton. In the evening, pay a visit to the Berlin TV Tower to see the bright lights of the capital.
On your final day your group can visit the German Museum of Technology, with artefacts dating back over 100 years. Later, your group will enjoy some free time to explore the city before returning home.
