With ecosystems, tourism and volcanos bursting (not literally) this is the place to inspire and educate your students! Explore urban shifts that have shaped the city and coastal changes with a hidden truth

Day 1

Land in Barcelona and head out for the afternoon. Your students will first explore the coast line and busy harbour on a Las Golondrinas boat trip. Students can take this opportunity to learn about the modern trade and pollution that has hit these routes.

Day 2

In the morning students will take a trip through Montserrat Natural Park, tucked away from the busy hub of the city, students can explore the eroded limestone and beautiful mountain range. In the afternoon your students will head over to the Garrotxa Volcanic Park, a perfect example of volcanic terrain.

Day 3

Your students will rise early to wander through the Olympic Stadium, students will be able to explore what impact tourism from the games had on the city. To delve further into how tourism impacts the city, students can stop off at La Sagrada Família and the Gothic Quarter, firm favourites amongst tourists!
