Lights, camera, action! Land in the city and start by exploring one of the most popular backdrops used in movies: Times Square. Your group will continue their trip by visiting the world-famous Empire State Building. In the evening, your group will try a typical American meal in the central parts of the city.
On their second day, your students will tick off the most important attractions in the city: Lady Liberty & Central Park. The next stop is The NBC Studio Tour, where your group will see up close what really goes on behind closed doors. On this tour students will find out more about its history & see where many popular shows were filmed. In the evening students will get the chance to see the Blue Man Group in action & enjoy a backstage pass where they will meet the cast out of costume, enjoy a lighting tutorial, meet the director & get a chance to play with the instruments.
On their last day, your group will visit The Brooklyn Bridge and the surrounding area. This fascinating construction is easily spotted in several titles, large and little screen! The afternoon will be spent exploring the Museum of Moving Image, this spot showcases appreciation of the art, technology of movies & television and digital media in the form of different exhibitions, educational programs and video art installations. In the evening students will head off to the airport to catch their flights back home.
