Students will kick off their trip with a visit to the largest museum in the Netherlands: The Rijksmuseum Museum. Here they will learn about the different selection of paintings from 15th century till around 1850. In the afternoon your group will head over to The Van Gogh Museum! 200 paintings, 500 drawings and 700 of his letters… we won’t spoil all the entertainment, just make sure your group has their cameras ready!
Your group will start their day by visiting the 3-storey house that was build in 1606, where the well-known Rembrandt lived for nearly 20 years. Later on, your students will have the opportunity to explore Amsterdam’s amazing street art and imaginative graffiti, while learning more about the city.
If your students are passionate about art, they will love this place! The Kroller Muller Museum has a massive collection of modern art paintings, different sculptures and vivid drawings. After lunch, students will head to the Amsterdam House of Arts & Crafts. Here they will get inspired to create and learn more about this place, its gallery and enjoy the beautiful garden outside. Students will enjoy some free time before they catch their flight home.
